Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about how Welmivia membership works — from your first visit to ongoing care.

Yes. All patients must complete a Precision Psychiatric Evaluation ($450) before enrolling in either membership tier. The evaluation includes a full psychiatric assessment and your personalized Welmivia Blueprint — the foundation for everything that follows.

Both tiers include monthly follow-up visits, the Annual Precision Health Review, lab ordering, BrightKaire pharmacogenomic ordering, GLP-1/metabolic management access, and monthly check-ins.

Signature adds a second monthly 15-minute visit, direct physician messaging (rather than staff-triaged), a clinician-led check-in, and includes after-hours/urgent access and prior authorization support at no additional charge. Add-on visit rates are also lower at the Signature tier.

No. The evaluation is a required entry point for all patients. Membership enrollment happens after your Blueprint is delivered.

Core includes one 30-minute follow-up visit per month, plus an annual 60-minute Precision Health Review.

Signature includes one 30-minute and one 15-minute follow-up visit per month, plus the annual review.

Members can add visits at discounted rates. A 15-minute add-on is $100 for Core members and $75 for Signature members. A 30-minute add-on is $200 for Core and $150 for Signature. These are available to members only and are not offered on an à la carte basis.
A 60-minute comprehensive review included in both tiers, covering psychiatric status, medication efficacy, metabolic markers, cognitive optimization goals, lab trends, and care planning for the year ahead. Scheduled once per membership year.
A brief 15-minute touchpoint between visits to check on adherence and flag any issues. For Core members, check-ins are staff-handled. For Signature members, they are clinician-led.

All members have access to secure messaging. Core messages are staff-triaged with a faster response than standard patients. Signature members receive direct physician responses.

Messaging is for care coordination, brief clinical updates, and routing — not for clinical consultations or ongoing therapy.

Signature members have after-hours and urgent access included at no additional charge. Core members can access it for $50 per use. Standard patients pay $100.
Lab ordering and interpretation is included in both tiers. Your physician orders the labs and reviews the results with you at your follow-up. You pay LabCorp or Quest directly for the draw itself — lab fees are not billed through Welmivia.
No. Medications — including antidepressants, GLP-1s, and peptides — are always billed separately. You source them from a vetted pharmacy and pay that cost directly. Your membership covers the prescribing, monitoring, titration, and lab oversight that supports your treatment.
BrightKaire (by NeuroKaire) is an AI-driven pharmacogenomic test that identifies the most effective antidepressant for your biology using patient-derived neurons. The ordering and evaluation is included for all members at no charge. The test itself is billed directly by NeuroKaire and is reimbursable under Medicare Part B and select private insurance. Results take approximately 8 weeks.
Yes. Ongoing monitored metabolic and peptide therapy — including GLP-1s — requires an active membership. Management, titration, and lab review happen within your scheduled visit time. Medications are sourced and paid separately by you.
Welmivia is a direct-pay practice. We do not bill insurance. Upon request, we provide an itemized superbill you can submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients with PPO plans recover a meaningful portion of their visit costs this way.
Membership fees themselves are not reimbursable by insurance. However, the individual clinical visits included in your membership can be submitted with CPT codes on a superbill, which your insurer may partially reimburse as out-of-network visits.
Annual memberships save approximately two months of fees — roughly $650 for Core ($3,250/yr vs. $3,900) and $1,050 for Signature ($5,250/yr vs. $6,300). If you're committed to ongoing care, annual is the better value.
After your evaluation, you can continue as an à la carte patient — scheduling follow-up visits as needed at standard rates ($150 for 15 min, $250 for 30 min). You can enroll in a membership whenever you're ready.
